Pothos

Hand tending to a Pothos plant in a white pot with a light purple backdrop, ideal for indoor decor

Lightning:

Pothos thrives in bright, indirect light but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering:

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Pothos prefers slightly dry soil between waterings, so be careful not to overwater.

Soil:

Use a well-draining potting mix. An all-purpose indoor plant mix is perfect for Pothos.

TEMPERATURE:

Pothos grows best in temperatures between 60-85°F (16-29°C). Keep it away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fun Fact:

Pothos is often called the “Devil’s Ivy” because it’s so hard to kill and stays green even when kept in the dark!

Sad Plant Signs:

  • Yellow Leaves: Often a sign of overwatering or poor drainage.
  • Brown Tips: Could indicate low humidity or underwatering.
  • Leggy Growth: May mean the plant needs more light.
