Monstera Deliciosa

Bright variegated Monstera plant basking in sunlight, adding a touch of nature to your cozy space.

Lightning:

Monstera Deliciosa loves bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.

Watering:

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Let the soil dry out a bit between waterings to prevent root rot.

Soil:

Use a well-draining potting mix. A mix designed for indoor plants with added perlite or orchid bark works well.

TEMPERATURE:

Keep your Monstera in temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fun Fact:

Monstera Deliciosa is known for its large, split leaves, often called “Swiss Cheese Plant” because of their holes and slits!

Sad Plant Signs:

  • Yellow Leaves: Could indicate overwatering.
  • Brown Leaf Edges: Often a sign of low humidity or too much direct sunlight.
  • Drooping Leaves: May mean the plant needs water or is getting too much water.
