Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera plant in a stylish white pot with a light purple backdrop, ideal for indoor decor and care

Lightning:

Aloe Vera loves bright, indirect sunlight. Place it near a sunny window but avoid direct, harsh sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.

Watering:

Water your Aloe Vera deeply but only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot. A good rule of thumb is to water about every 3 weeks and even less in the winter.

Soil:

Use well-draining soil, like cactus or succulent mix. Aloe Vera doesn't like to sit in water, so make sure your pot has drainage holes.

Temperature:

Aloe Vera thrives in temperatures between 55°F and 80°F (13°C to 27°C). Keep it away from freezing temperatures and extreme heat.

Fun Fact:

Did you know Aloe Vera gel has been used for thousands of years to soothe burns and skin irritations? It’s like having a natural first-aid kit in a pot!

Sad Plant Signs:

  • Overwatered: Mushy, yellow leaves.
  • Underwatered: Brown, crispy leaf tips.
  • Not Enough Light: Leggy growth and pale leaves.
